Lost

So, this is the companion piece to "Why".  Again, a little bit morbid, but it is what it is. I may have to go in and retouch his eyebrows I'm seeing, they look a little bit too thick now even though I thought that they were fine before, but whatevs. I drew attention to the eyebrows because even though Eugene has died, they are still arched a little bit in sadness, and because in the movie you can see tears in his eyes, I decided that I wanted them to be running down his face (Of course you can only see one, this is a profile. Originally I was going to name this picture unshed, but I think that I'll make a differnt piece to go with that title.). I undid and redid the blood on his face and the drop of blood running from his lip so many times that I don't know if it looks good yet or anymore. I liked how I did it very first, but alas, I erased that layer and have been unable to duplicate it. Life goes on.
ANYWAY 
The amount of things that were going through Eugene's head previous to this had to be phinominal, as difficult for him as for Rapunzel but in such a different way. He hurt a lot, he was dying, and he decided that freeing her from slavery to Gothel was more important to him than his own life and new dreams. At the same time it was gut wrenching for him. He knew full well that Rapunzel cared for him - more than anyone else had for a long time, and she was his new dream. He knew that his death would be terrible for her, but he had no choice but to set her free. Best movie ever.
